Prior to setting up my web design business, I spent 6 years working in the IT department at Skandia, a financial services company based in Southampton. I progressed from IT Analyst to Business Analyst to IT Developer, supporting third-party software working to tight deadlines on simultaneous projects. I was involved in all aspects of project management from initial design documents to final delivery.
During that time, I also developed my web design and search engine optimisation skills through self-study, courses and by developing my portfolio of sites.
I have had a variety of jobs in a number of countries including marketing and running 3 successful profit-making events for a Law School, teaching Year 10 students the IT GCSE syllabus and managing a scuba diving school in Africa.
